KDrama Challange: Gaksital; Jang Ok Jung.

A quick review:
1.       Gaksital
What a show!
Kenapa? Karena dialah gaksital – the super hero. Ha!
Ketiga, alur alias jalan cerita.

Aneh emang.
Chemistry 2 tokoh utama wow banget. Really beautifully written and shot. Penasaran terus sama jalan ceritanya hingga mungkin itulah kenapa aku bisa bertahan nonton 24 episode dalam waktu 3 hari. Wow
Tapiiiii....perkembangan si karakter utama, yaitu Jang Ok Jung, sangat menyebalkan! Dia sifatnya berubah-rubah, dari baik-egois-baik-egois- dan akhirnya dia kena batunya. Padahal sayang banget.

KDrama Challange: Secret Garden

Note: This was made on July, 13th 2011. When I read this again, I thought: I was so emotional at that time and now I dont have the same opinion with this. LOLS. This post is intentionally for informing korean drama newbies out there who probably really need a quick review about the drama. Anyway, I will leave this commentary/review  to be the same as the first time I wrote it. (yeah, maybe there will be edited part here and there) Thus, it will be in Bahasa Indonesia. Enjoy~

First of all, WELCOME BAAAACCCCK MY LAPTOP
Hahaha. Aku kekecoh sama alur ceritanya. Traumanya sama lift, janjinya sama ayahnya Ra Im, komitmennya buat terus ‘ngejar’ Ra Im, bikin aku tersentuh. Ha!
Setting nya baguus (rumah JW, yaaaa, sinca yeputa!), soundtracknya hampir semuanya bagus, karakter Oska –nya bikin Susana sangat hidup (walopun kelakuan JW sendiri udah bikin aku ngakak), alurnya walaupun maju-mundur;aku masih bisa nangkep maksudnya. Biasanya udah cape duluan jadi gitu deh.
Ketiga, feelnya..dapet semuaaa! Daebak! Bodornya kena banget, diawal episode aku ga nyangka bakal sering banget ngakak tiba-tiba. So sweet nya, wow, ga perlu ditanya lah, malu. Wow. Kasih ibu kepada beta- tak terhingga sepanjang masa.
Keempat, Gil Ra Im.. dibuat ‘keliatan’ sangaaat  cantik oleh JW. TAPI !Baru kali ini aku sama sekali ga nemuin sisi cantik-banget-nya karakter cewek utama yang biasanya bikin aku iri disemua kdrama. Yang ini dibuat tomboy abis. JW juga ga keliatan charming banget. RaIm juga dibuat sangat ehm manly?. Dia jarang menunjukan sisi lemahnya. JW juga. Bener-bener pasangan yang kuat. Aku belum liat, mereka mabok gara-gara putus cinta atau apalah itu, terus gila-gila an lah, hmmmh.. beneran seger liat konsep baru kaya gini. Jadi ngiri :p
Kelima, konsep the little mermaid nya ngingetin sama gumiho. Walopun aku belum pernah nonton (suatu saat harus nonton the little mermaid) , aku cukup mengerti apa artinya pepatah let the other persons happy.
Mungkin emang udah saatnya ngerubah konsep cerita cinderela disetiap drama korea.
Why am I feeling soooo happy with this perfectness? Hahaha udahan dulu ah nanti malah berubah pikiran. Film ini worth it buat dikoleksi.
Ah, ada satu yang masih bikin ganjil. Itu kenapa ayahnya Ra Im malah bikin ramuan ajaib dan bikin anaknya tukeran badan sama si JW?! I don’t get what the PD-niem thought. Aish
Because of this film, finally I can find the true heart of my friend. Osi. She’s kindhearted and doesn’t cool of all. She has a normal girl side besides her unusual behavior. She cried when watched this and I didn’t. sorry this is out of topic

Whatever, here are the lines that make me laugh, blushing, and almost touched..should I say, makes me fallen too far into him? ROFTL
“I dont want to see your back. Let me look at your face”
“If I had knew my pay tax  rising you, I would have pay more”
“Don’t you know, you are prettier when you are angry” – for several times, this is a certain words but I found it so funny. He said those words with a poker face?! How come
Ra Im : so do you want me on your back then?
JW      :Nope, I want to hold you by my arm so I can see your face

He is compeletly in love with her.
Anyway, I get a message from this show:  Girls, don’t fall in love to someone too easily. Please, consider your pride. Find someone who loves you not the other way around.

KDrama Challange: You All Are Surrounded

1 August 2014

The reason why I watched it at the first time:
The conflict:
Very heavy. It’s a miracle when I know Eun Dae Gu can survive after witnessing her mother being killed.
And very cliché.
The flaws:
Makanya susah buat ga sentimental selama nonton.
Udah alesannya itu doang hahahaha.
The Romance:
Saya terlalu ingat karakter Go Ara di Reply 1994, karakter Lee Jae Ha, dan kalau ngeliat eun tae il jadi inget adiknya choi seung yi di you from another star.
Enak dilihat begichu.
Anyway
Lee Seung Gi acting when he should act angry, sad, or simply when he is about to kiss Go Ara, is superb. I’m so in love with his skill. He can act that way flawlessly. He can assure me that he is not someone’s boyfriend #youknowwhatimean ifnotyoumustbeanalien HAHAHA . Also, he is a pure smile killer.
However
I’m not too attached to this drama. I’m not too fond into it as much as I love Bride of Century. Fortunately, the flaws are overcome by its overall charm J
Conclusion is: watch it! You’ll get a very good laugh, a mystery case but not give you any headache because there will be hints over here and there, a very sweet detective family, a memorable cinematography, unbelievably realistic characters who will make you so into them, a nicely compose soundtrack, and a heartwarming memory because you choose to watch it. :”)

Rating-wise: Objectively : 8; Subjectively: 7.5 :p

Kdrama Challange: Two Weeks

14 October 2013
This drama gives me the vibe of how to redeem your 'mistake' by cracking your brain – along with 'sharpening' your gut.
I love how the writer plots the story – it is well written and so much satisfying. The first episode is the most engaging part/ opening for me. I could sense this series  -  by the first episode - would be entertaining and kick all the good aspects in the most drama I had ever watched.  Still, I am all the romantic-comedy fan out there, as a result I did crave more of the romance and I got nowhere. Sigh. The drama’s story would get an A +++  if the pressure between ‘life and death’ did not go down before the final episode. Is it only me or anyone else has the same thought about it?
On the other hand, it turns out to be better when the story puts the romance aside. I love how the writer still gave us a happy ending – cause It would crush our sympathy towards the main character who deserves to be loved a wholeheartedly IF he deads or maybe has brain damage etc etc.
The characters are excellent. They were not wasted along the development of the story. Soe In Hye takes good role in the opening. Park Jae-Kyung is brilliant. Uri Tae San-ie and Soe Su Jin-ie  is the center of the drama. The baddish people just live there as they supposed to be in every dramaland, so there is no problem with that except they always make me angry ha!. The chief, detectives are all good at their part to appropriately drive the plot.
The setting is just simple. I see there is no such a thing as overbroad shoot for one single scene which sometimes, at different show, I found it unnecessary . The pressure, the action, the fast-thinker detectives, the emotion is just perfect.
The tone of this movie might be ‘(verb) + after the surgery day’ such as ‘ I will tell you the whole story after…’, ‘I am going to die after…’
There are more and more heartbreaking moments from this series discovered by Tae-san’s two weeks life changing journey. I almost forgot that he was handicapped and suffered from the framed before finally he got his ‘happily ever after’. He is the most pity character that I had ever seen. For several times I almost cried along with him, when he was super angry or upset towards his life. It is no surprise when I saw the scene when In-Hye finally finds out that he is clear – not a murder at all – then she comes to really angry to Jae-Gyung. She questions her, why it should be him, and how much he suffers. If I could recall those moments, those are just heartbreaking.
It was a very pleasant ride watching this show. I don't regret anything at all. Go watch it!

Kdrama Challange: School 2013

26 Agustus 2013

WOW
Wow.

Apakah kedua-nya normal? – straight I mean. Hahahaha. Maap nih, radar saya lagi error. Ga tau mau nerusin kuliah dimana. Ga tau mau jadi apa. Ga mikirin apa-apa selain nonton drama korea.#maapcurhat

Kasus kedua, si rambut kaya helm. Duh lupa namanya.. dia itu punya kekurangan di IQ, tapi punya semangat buat sekolah. Keren!

Kasus ketiga, Kang Joong dan song ha kyung? Cewe-cewe ini kurang dapet porsi dibanding duo maut, tapi cukup ngewarnain cerita..

Rating-wise: 8 out of 10

Tapi drama ini nunjukin hal lain – walaupun sederhana, tapi pesan yang disampaikan adalah life must go on!
Humor nya, senengnya, sedihnya, memorable nya, perfect.

(Again!) The King 2 Hearts Commentary

Now its my time to sleep, but yeah, this very rare moment of me will be faded away once the sun rises. I have to capture this moment thoroughly and with detailed narrations will led me into a full of emotion – not just lazy and excited – but feeling how to praise something in this moment. In other words, because sympathy is really expensive in my world and I can’t afford it as I wish, so I want to draw myself into a very deep moment to praise a-so-last-two-year drama (because It aired two years ago!) and to make any sense why I love it. Lets get started! The King 2 hearts has so many hearts from me <3.

This drama has three elements that catch a bucket of love. Since I’ve just watched it twice, I won’t discuss the (AMAZING) plot, I only want to stay in the realness of the character and how a glimpse of live can be well captured in this series. Firstly, I am a moslem and I witnessed this drama portrays the role of husband and wife should be. Jae-ha carries the most responsibility of his country. He has to be tough and smart and wise and professional in hiding his personal problem. He is the face of the country. On the other hand, he is just a human.
At some points in his life, he falls- physically, mentally, or both. Then it is the righteous time when a woman ‘catches’ him and makes him stand. There is no talking of gender issue here, I am just pointing out the role of male and female in a relationship. Their case’s difference between common people is only the weight of responsibility that the male has to carry on his shoulder.

Hang-ah is really match for Jae-ha in many ways. Regardless they are the main leads in this drama, I personally heavily put that fact aside, their character is just perfect to complete each other. They have their own unique similarities which equal with their differences. Many dramas out there is trying to only focus on the leads’ differences and try to make them fell in love while Hang-ah and Jae-ha have the same amount of reason to hate or to love each other. *I don’t know how to describe them anyway. Lols. Because they are just my favorite brainy-brawn-bad-ass characters (yeay!)

Back to Hang-ah and her role as how any wife should be. And I just want to emphasize things happening in episode 7 that turn me into Jae-ha fans, Hang-ah fans, the royal family fans (the mother/queen, Jae-shin, Jae-Kang/late king which are so welcoming Hang-ah), and Jae-ha-Hang-ah’s chemistry fans. Hang-ah is the most tough woman I’ve ever seen – in drama. She is not just advanced in martial art because she is so damn lovely and cute at the same time. Mostly, her feminism side is shown when she is being with Jae-ha. This is just realistic! errr yeah, I've seen Hang-ah girl type in real life.

When the king’s death is announced and everybody goes mourning, Hang-ah is not heavily crying in the corner. She knows somebody needs her not just to be the partner to face the pain together, but somebody to lean on and get strength. She is there! And that is the most matter. I love how she plays her role well - she is the power for the most powerful person in that country. ok its weird... I’m starting to think every president’s wife now.

I’ve just explained the first element – the main subtle message for me which is about the role of man and woman in the world of how to rule a country.

Lets take a look to the second elements: politics.

I’ve never interested to any part of political issue that a drama brings out – I still don’t care. However, The king 2 Hearts brings me to a whole new level of getting involved in political issue in a drama because I like how the main leads rule it. Its Jae-ha who wins over my heart, steals every adorable moment in my imagination to belong to his character, and he is such a witty-and-brainy person. His stepping up to become the king is precious and that is his best charm. Oh don’t forget to say he is just the most romantic and sweetest king on the earth – or maybe he is just a portrait for every king in the world who adores his queen so much. Hang-ah has the same equal role in ruling or steering the politics except she comes from north, a female, and she is not the throne. Those parts strengthen her legal to be on Jae-ha side. If she has the same power with him, I think the story would turn out differently. Maybe when Jae-ha ‘falls’, she overtook it and seemed more powerful than Jae-ha and it would hurt my dignity to praise the king (lol, what? Ok just ignore my random thought). So the differences in Hang-ah just make them perfect to combine their power. That’s it!

The third element is how the romance doesn’t interrupt nor is awkwardly inserted in the middle of the tense in the drama because it has its own way to win my  viewer’s heart. It is there from the beginning, you know, and if you didn’t notice it you have to check your eyes. Comparing to Gaksital, which the romance didn’t really get my sympathy until the female lead died, the king and queen love story in this drama is the real winner. It does not make me all whinny when the threaten moment comes, but it just gives me a whole butterflies from the earth into my stomach. As I told you, my emotional moment is every rare so the times when the butterflies fly all over me, I am really enjoying it AND anticipating it. I love how I really root for the couple because they are root-worthy. Haha. One last sentence: They are sooooo lovely.

To conclude, the bittersweet second lead couple love story is another thing I praise. what? lols no. I mean, I hope they can be together, maybe in another drama.I praise how the writer touches me with their love story. I've never cared into such a second lead couple before, but in this series, I found myself praying hard for Lee Jae Shin and Eun Shi Kyung reunion.
Congratulation for the production team who brings such a very beautiful cinematography engages with amazing soundtracks, best plot, and best casts. The King 2 Hearts is now on my 3 top most favorite Kdrama. ^^

My Recent Favorite Kdrama: The King 2 Hearts

this explanation is better with something going on my mind. I hope I can write my own later...After I finish watching it for the 2nd time ^^

....came the emotional rollercoaster that was The King 2 Hearts, starring two of my favorite seasoned drama actors, Lee Seung-gi and Ha Ji-won. Boosted by solid performances from Jo Jung-suk as Eun Shi-kyung, the stoic bodayguard, and Yoon Je-moon as the whimsically evil Bong-gu, our main couple delighted fans as they navigated political pitfalls between North and South Korea, bickered about everything and anything between fights with Bong-gu’s evil henchmen and bubble baths, and snuck in some drunk kisses in all of that. Lee Seung-gi is a pro at playing the rich spoiled brat (we all know that already, so the first chunk of the drama was nothing new), but what really impressed me was his transition from inexperienced prince to savvy ruler after his brother’s death. He made the serious scenes feel serious, but he also injected a bit of life and humor into a character that could’ve been way too one-dimensional if any other actor had taken the role. Ha Ji-won also impressed with her perfect balance between spunky badassery and typical vulnerability as Hang-ah. Their chemistry together, while unexpected, was just pitch-perfect, and made The King 2 Hearts one of the best dramas this year...

Keajaiban Sedekah (versi saya) PART 2

'500ribu. Lagi nabung sih' Tiba tiba si ayah ngeluarin dompet 'Nih ayah tambahin 200 ribu' Waa seneng banget! Dalem hati, siap-siap buat nabung dengan rajin!
Besoknya, saya kan abis ngobrol gitu sama temen bahas hard disk eksternal merek apa yang bagus. Temen aku nyaraninnya Toshiba, aku keingetan dan sms si Ayah. Sms balesannya apa coba ? 'Ya ini udah beli kok, yg 1 terabyte' . APA?! SERIUSAN?
